Immigrant Speak Week 4: Woke Training in Education
Today we continue our conversation with Amani about her experience working as a reading tutor for K-3rd elementary school students. She shares with us training materials from her work, a federally funded organization, whose mission is supposed to help children develop reading skills. She was shocked by the content of this training, during which she was silenced and labeled for speaking her mind, and decided she could no longer stay silent on what is being pushed on our educators in public schools. #CRT #Marxism #education #indoctrination
