In this story, Archippus, a horse trainer with aspirations of winning the Olympics and becoming the greatest chariot-racer to ever live, is challenged to a race by Pallas Athena. Winning the race would mean fame, fortune, and immortality, but his failure would result in slow and painful death. Either way, Archippus is in for the race of his life.
