The Thirsty Dead is a 1974 American horror-adventure film directed byTerry Becker.
Plot:
In Manila , Philippines, four young women including a cabaret dancer, are kidnapped by members of a mysterious sect. After a long journey first in the sewers, then in canoes and through the jungle, they end up among a community practicing magic rituals allowing them to remain immortal. One of the young girls, Laura resembles the one announced by a prophecy, she is therefore welcomed with the honors due to her rank, but she refuses to be complicit in rites which could endanger her fellow prisoners. The high priest, Baru falls in love with Laura and will promote her escape. But when Laura, saved, reports the presence of the sect to the authorities, they will answer her that after research, including by helicopter, they have found no trace of it. Further away,
