Believe to Receive, Let’s Rally ‘Gen Z’

[Transitional Times Poem Collection] -
In a conversation with some 25+’s outside 2022 Christmas Party in Athlone, a young lady stated that her peers know that there is corruption in Government/s and are aware of lies about various things! However, she felt that while her generation are in fact ‘awake’ to this, they do not feel it is possible to influence or change things.

This has been playing on my mind and I wondered if can we link with this age grouping to stimulate ‘hope’ and the possibilities that ‘we can overcome’; it is not static; when we act, we will prevail: Can we inspire them in this regard? I hope this poem may help.

This creation falls into my 'Transitional' poem collection which contains 'a variety of Motivational and Commentary poems exploring issues of the time'.
