Sermon of His Holiness Pope Jacobus I on the Dominica Septaguesima...5 February 2023 AD...in today's Gospel Christ Our Lord teaches through His true Roman Catholic Church that the virtue of humility and perseverance in the Catholic religion, which is nothing else but Catholic Tradition, is essential for salvation, that those who in their sinful pride demand their desires to be accommodated by God, and this without any consideration for the safety of their soul, they will learn the truth that God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. But they who in true humility do realize that God's help to the mankind is gratuitous and therefore always according to His will, and that the human race has to learn to obey God and His true Catholic Church in all truth and justice that is essential and necessary for salvation of the soul and even well-being of the body, and that all shall be judged by God according to their works, and that no matter how much the soul thinks to stand righteous in front of God, when the soul is in the state of mortal sin nothing will help except true Sacrament of Penance in the bosom of the true Roman Catholic Church, Divine Institution, outside of which there is absolutely no salvation...
