I am always asked how I test sleeping bags to find the best and worst sleeping bags on the market. Testing sleeping bags involves many facets. Temperature inside the bag is the most interesting to people. But also, how does it feel, are their special features and does it keep you warm at the rating it has? Normally sleeping bags really do not keep you warm at the marketed/advertised rating. Doing this scientific testing separates the best from the worst sleeping bags!
