A couple years ago I wrote Cormac McCarthy's "Blood Meridian" by hand. This process took months but revealed a lot more than reading "Blood Meridian" multiple times. Today, I will talk about my experience writing "Blood Meridian by Hand," the benefits of doing so, and some of the things I learned about the text from the process.
