During one of his recent shows, Tucker Carlson grossly equates the brutal murder of Tyre Nichols at the hands of Memphis Police with the killing of insurrectionist Ashli Babbitt during the January 6th attack on the Capitol. Tucker is one of the most heinous propagandists in America and he took a lot of lessons from his predecessor Bill O'Reilly. One lesson was that his audience will never ever call him out for bring the grotesque hypocrite he is.

Tucker Carlson wants to argue that it is hypocritical for people to be upset about Tyre Nichols's murder because he is making an equivalence to the police officer who shot somebody in the Capitol as the rioters the insurrectionist the coup whatever you want to call them we're literally smashing down the doors to where the Congress people were hiding out. and with total disregard, they had already you know sort of like pummeled I don't see a dozen police at that point. and he's making this false equivalency. mind you there is no doubt in my mind that he had no problem playing that moment over and over again on Fox News. whereas he thinks the Tyree Nicholas one is just going to inflame passions too much to play. play this Tucker. People who are Weeping on television about police brutality applauded when one of Nancy Pelosi's officers murdered an unarmed woman called Ashley Babbitt. yes murdered. That's exactly what that was far more clearly than anything you just saw in the videotape we played. so of course the point of this is to federalize local law enforcement obviously. It's never about saving anybody's life. It's about accumulating power. but there are a lot of nuances here that are hard to untangle in real-time. and that's why we're yeah I'd love to federalize these things. I mean the founders and all their Infinite Wisdom didn't put anything in the Constitution that provides us federal oversight over police departments like this. it's left to localities and states. and that's a huge problem. so yes that's what we would do. like it's just astonishing this guy. and you know it has become clear to me that he is you know where he started his career off in I think on Fox emulating Bill O'Reilly. you know you can go back and I think you can find it online and I think it was in 99 he had this is Tucker Carlson had written a book and he was critical of O'Reilly but he was on C-Span-like book notes or something like that. and he was talking about O'Reilly. And I'm paraphrasing but the quote was more or less Bill O'Reilly plays the Everyman when he's not, he's a millionaire who lives in Long Island. and someday he's going to get found out. He's going to complain about his Mimosa on you know in first class on an airline and he's going to get found out. I think Tucker Carlson as he started his broadcast career realized that he was never found out. That was never a problem. well, he there was accountability for Bill O'Reilly but it took him to have like cost the company millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars because of his sexual harassment charges. but what I think Tucker realized is like no you can actually do that. and not just you, he could play the Everyman even though he is an heir to the multi-hundred millionaire Fortune Fortune. even though his parents were Diamond-level contributors to the college he went to. even though he went to an I think it was a Swiss boarding school and then got kicked out of that and went to one in Newport Rhode Island.
