It's not easy to become a solid Counterintelligence Agent. It's for sure a life-defining challenge to become a Green Beret. So what does it take to master both skills? Pete Jensen has completed this journey. Pete Jensen was in D Co, 165th MI Bn when Pete A Turner was in the unit.

In this short Pete A Turner talks directly about the skills and sacrifices necessary to be good at field collection. It's easy to want to do the job. We all want to be James Bond...but do you have the make up, moxie, experience and skill to get the job done, anywhere, any time, in any conflict...despite the challenges. The answer for 99% of collectors is, No...

Pete Jensen talks about the breadth of Counterintelligence. A TSCM (Tactical Surveillance Countermeasures) focused collector is NOT a great field Collector. If the roles were reversed and the task was to leverage technical skills to counter, intelligence efforts, the combat spy would have to defer to the skills of the TSCMer.

Jensen left D Co before Bosnia to become a Green Beret...and that's where we have to stop telling that story, because "That's Classified." Jensen knows the spy game. Turner knows the spy game...this episode is apex Spy vs Spy talk.
