Quotes -
“After going back and listening to it and realizing it’s interesting because, within the short amount of time within those few months listening to myself, the uncertainty, the knowledge I didn’t have that I have now in just a short amount of time, the experience I gained in that amount of time is mind-blowing.”

“There’s still a lot of things that I need to learn as I go into this, so as long as I don’t walk with the mindset of ‘I know all these things’, that I know what to do; I got to stay teachable, remain pliable because there’s still so much that could be learned in this.”

“I don’t want to have the mindset that this is just a business, this just figures and money, and percentages, all that stuff. There are real people that are involved and I wanna approach it that way too and hopefully make really good positive connections.”

“Getting out of the ghetto, surviving, and getting a job, and hopefully have the American dream, have the white picket fence. I’m realizing that is not the American dream. The American dream is upward mobility. And real estate is one of the avenues to do it.”

“I am definitely more confident and eager but I do know at this point, I’m kind of taking the pedal off a little bit to kind of regroup. Because when you make good deals, successes, you don’t want to get the gambler’s kind of mentality where it’s just ‘Oh, you’re winning, and you’re winning, okay let’s roll it again and again’, and then eventually what’s gonna happen is what you’ve gained is all going to be gone. ”

Concepts -
One of the first obstacles you need to overcome in real estate is making the initial contact. Finding good deals and listings isn’t hard. It’s getting over your hesitation to make that first deal happen that’s going to be difficult
Don’t let your fears of instability stop you from investing your money. Ask yourself how you can put your money to good use and grow it. Educate yourself on investing so you can get rid of the fears you are facing. These are the first steps you take in your journey to financial freedom.
One of the best ways you can do against inflation is real estate. Because when the costs go up, so does your rent. So even with high inflation, you’re still able to keep up with it. Not to mention the equity of your property more often than not goes up as time goes by.
Plan for your investments. Look for markets where you can get the best bang for your buck. If your local market is too expensive, you should look elsewhere to find the ideal investments where the market value is not too high so your passive income can compensate.
Coachability and your willingness to learn are very important. If you’re stubborn and think that you already know everything that you need, you will probably fail. Willingness to learn and to admit that you need help is not a weakness, these are strengths that will help you get to where you’re going faster, and prepare you to face whatever obstacles you might get in the future.
You need to find someone you can rely on, be it a coach, your spouse, or your friends. So when you have doubts about yourself, you’ll have someone who will lift you up and clear those doubts off your mind.
