I don't know about any of you guys, but Ruth is one of my favorite books of the Bible. Why you ask? It's a story about a woman who thinks she's hated by God, but ultimately comes to realize that God loves her unconditionally, and the way He shows that love to her is amazing beyond compare. In short, it's a story about God's unconditional love to people, who don't deserve it, but these people truly cherish it. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional, were so challenging, as well as very uplifting to my heart, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Naomi thought that her name should be “Mara”, because she thought God hated her. However, God would show her just the opposite, through the wondrous plan He had for her through her own daughter-in-law!
Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will show you how much he truly cares for and loves you too.

What does it mean for you to live out the name that describes who you are in Jesus?

I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word this morning, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you, well encourage your heart through whatever trauma or hardship you may be experiencing. That you will know what your name in Christ is, and that you will cling to that and not whatever bitterness is trying to envelope you. So, as I close this post for tonight, I pray that no matter what rotten, cruddy, disgusting, traumatic, or devastating thing that has ever taken place in your life, that you will not allow it to define who you are now, nor will you let it rule your life. That instead of allowing bitterness to grow and infest your heart, that you will allow God to fill your heart with love, compassion, and forgiveness to the one who hurt you, and give them to Him! Choose to take the negative things that people call you, or whatever name you've given yourself, and give it to the Lord, and allow him to show you how valued, loved, and worthwhile you are to Him! Remember. Your name is not ugly, failure, stupid, worthless, or any other negative thing that you think of yourself or what other say about you. If you know Christ, YOU ARE A
