Latest news: Just caught a Sumatran tiger from the Simpali Forest Area, South Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. February 4, 2023.

The local amateur footage shows tigers being evacuated from the forest by boat. This individual tiger was caught after attacking forest rangers in the area.

There is a conflict between animals and humans because the forest land cover is getting damaged by plantation activities.

Currently, the tiger is placed in an office belonging to the authorities there, for the next time it will undergo a rehabilitation process.
