G7 imposes price cap on Russian oil products

The G7 countries have agreed to impose a price cap on Russian oil products such as diesel and fuel – a measure which comes into effect on Sunday. Russia’s retaliatory steps were announced in December and came into effect on February 1, meaning exports to countries supporting the price cap are no longer possible.
