Thy Will

I've got a need I've got desires
I'd like to see how things run
I wanta know I need to go
Just can't see how this gets done.

The prayer that never fails, “Thy will be done”
Is just the thing to fit the bill
Since You are God above and You have a plan
I humbly submit to Thy will

I've got a friend Who's got a need
I'd like to see them get healed
But if they're healed and they're not won
We won't see your purpose revealed

I know the thoughts You have for me
Are for my peace and for my good.
The end of life, my destiny
Is so clearly understood

So I've got a need I've got desires
But I don't need You to show
I'll lay it all into Your plan
Cause this is what I've come to know
