Here are some facts about the moons of Mars!
Phobos
-Diameter: 22.5 km (14 mi)
-May have formed after an impact on Mars threw material into orbit
-Will eventually either collide with Mars or be ripped into a planetary ring by gravity
Deimos
-Diameter: 12.4 km (7.7 mi)
-Potentially a captured asteroid
-Is slowly drifting away from Mars and will eventually escape its gravity
