Reuters fact cheched this, of course. A video that appears to show a ring binder changing from red to green while in the hand of Britain’s new Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been falsely interpreted by social media users as evidence of a sinister plot.

“I produced the piece,” former Sky News journalist Rhiannon Williams said on Twitter at the time. It involved “just a small colour switch to emphasise the need for a green budget. It's in the context of a climate/budget look ahead piece,” she added.
