A Winter Hike in the Great Smoky Mountains - Charlie's Bunion along the Appalachian Trail

Come hiking with me in Great Smoky Mountains National Park from Newfound Gap Road to Charlie's Bunion. This solo winter hike along the Appalachian Trail was incredibly foggy (and icey), but still managed to have some beautiful trail views. I added Mount Kephart to this Charlie's Bunion hike, as I'm working towards both the Smoky Mountains 900 Miler Challenge and Carolina Mountain Club's SB6K Challenge. Newfound Gap in the Great Smoky Mountains is a very popular trailhead, and I can see why! The Appalachian Trail in the Smokies is a perfect balance between challenging and beautiful. I hope you enjoy my winter solo hiking vlog!
