Casting Brass - Lost Foam Casting Process (Brass Lady Bust)

Casting Brass is very messy. It doesn't pour nice like copper. Even though the main composition of brass is copper. This will be my first time trying to cast brass. I'll be casting brass using the lost foam casting process. I cast with foam often, but never have I done brass. Brass is a heavy metal compared to aluminum. I coated the foam pattern with 4-5 layers to hopefully keep the brass from pushing its way out into the sand. I'm glad the brass sculpture came out as good as it did. As I explain in the beginning of the video, I wasn't sure how it was going to come out.
