The Manila Baywatch — formed by Manila Bay Beach — with invaluable, foundational contributions from the Philippine Mountain Rangers and Wildlife Enforcers (it would not have been possible without them) — is a community watch organization devoted to both environmental protection and crime prevention, as well as providing first-aid and potentially life-saving services along the entire 900m Manila Baywalk.

The First Step was to establish a strong volunteer program. Done.

This video focuses on the Second Step: the Philippine Mountain Rangers and Wildlife Enforcers, aka the Environmental Soldiers. After successful completion of the Environmental Soldier, 8-week training program — graduates may choose to be inducted into the Manila Baywatch and serve and protect alongside and in cooperation with both the DENR and the Philippine National Police (PNP), in addition to support from both the Philippine Coast Guard and Philippine Navy.

The Third Step: Lifeguards (coming soon).
