Mystery fossil: I might have found another rare fossil

I haven't been out fossil hunting in a while so it was great to get back out exploring the coastline of New Zealand. It was a chilly spring day with a really cold wind coming in from the east, but finding fossils always make me forget about the weather!

I found the expected crab or two and then I noticed something sticking out of a large rock. On closer inspection, I couldn't tell whether it was bone or something like a crab claw but I decided to carry it back to try and reveal it at home.
