I found a rare fossil from an ancient whale! Fossil hunting adventure on the South Island

I headed down for a chilled fossil hunt and ended up finding some really great fossils! It was just sitting there as I walked onto the beach, it must have been exposed by some of the recent large storms!

I carried on fossil hunting and managed to find quite a few interesting fossils just around the corner from where I found the first fossil, including another mystery one that looks like a really large barnacle.
