Hundreds hit Johannesburg streets in protest against rising electricity costs

Protesters in Johannesburg, South Africa, angered by rising energy costs, marched and chanted outside the state electricity company of Eskom Megawatt Park head office. The demonstrators took to the streets following the approval of an electricity price hike by almost 19% starting April 1 this year by the National Energy Regulator of South Africa.
