Desire III (15) : Standing Strong

We've been looking at the Scriptures concerning how to receive from God the things we desire. Research His Will as revealed in His Word is the first step. Then we make our Request according His Word. Then we believe we Receive when we pray. And Jesus said we would have it. But between the time of prayer and having it we have to stand on the Word in faith, not giving up any ground to unbelief and doubt . .

Romans 4:19-21 NASB95 — 19 Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; 20 yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform."
