On top of spread damage rebel clash toxtricity inflicts poison and in expanded gains the ability to boost the posion damage to threatening levels. It also gains sinister hand dusknoir to manipulate the damage to a powerful effect. Another edge over other spread decks is still the speed energies that toxtricity can utilize helping the deck draw extra cards and be more reliable. We don't care about the extreme damage volcarona v can inflict since we're using regular pokemon with low hp but volcarona v will definitely feel the pressure when dusknoir comes out as we can remove its support partners or just target volcarona v directly with sinister hand.
