Philippines, U.S. tighten militaries over China

The Philippines has granted the United States wider access to its military bases, allowing for U.S. troops to position equipment and barracks in locations that were formerly off limits. U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is touring Asia with an eye to China's more assertive sphere of influence.
