No One Was Home, So I Shopped! | Finding Antique & Vintage Deals

This is the most unexpected quickie antiquing adventure! A no-show at an appraisal site gives me a brief moment to find serendipity at a combo decorator/vintage vendor mall in Dunedin, Florida. Will we find beauty, collectibility and profit in this place cited as top antique shop by Tampa Bay Magazine?

Knot On Main Street is a longtime favorite of mine, it always produces reseller priced vintage and cool collector things. But the first half the store is full of shoppers, full of new stuff, full of garage/thrift sale home goods, full of painted furniture...will today disappoint for the first time ever?

Around the corner, the back half of the store is quieter (no radio!), and the antique and vintage items are laying in wait to see if they can dazzle us with their style, uniqueness and/or value for money. A secret Italian spy joins our forces, we go for the Picnic, and today quickly adds up to be a fun and profitable antique and vintage picking day!
