We talk about the rise to power of right wing hardliners that accompanies the return of Netanyahu and draw parallels to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis proclaiming that Florida is "Where Woke Goes to Die" while also stating that "Judea and Samaria (biblical names for the land that includes the occupied West Bank) are disputed territories." We discuss the "strange bedfellows" dynamic of the concurrent escalations in the pushing of the "anti woke" culture war , of hard line religious Zionism, and the increasing visibility of anti Jewish rhetoric, We close by talking about some of the problems with the response(s) to Hinkle's comments.
