Endurance driver, 23, from Encinitas living dream racing Porsches

North County's own Max Root is opening to etch his name alongside Jimmie Johnson and Ron Capps as San Diegans who have found great success in the world of motor sports. He's been behind the wheel competing in endurance racing for close to seven years, including stints at Le Mans. Through 59 career GT3 Cup Races, he's found the podium 45 times.
