For over 5 years we have been partnered with Ryan at Castlemania Games, and he has just shared some exciting news about a new product line being brought to the castle.

When it comes to modern and retro video game accessories, I'd argue few do it better than CastleManiagames. He carries top brands including Retro Fighters, Retro-bit, HD Retrovision, but he also has his own in-house Rondo brand of accessories too. Whether you're looking for new controllers for your Nintendo 64 or you want to put an HDMI kit into your Nintendo Wii, you'll find it at the Castle. That's why it's so exciting to hear that mod accessory manufacturer Gamebox Systems has entered into a partnership with Castlemania games to bring their exceptional mods to the site.

From the Castlemania Games Newsletter:
Welcoming Gamebox Systems to the Castle!

Gamebox Systems has a proven track record, delivering innovative and high-quality mod kits as well as consolizer kits to the community. We are beyond excited to welcome them to the Castle!

Up first we are offering limited pre-orders and early bird discounts on the 64HD! The 64HD is an internal, digital-to-digital mod kit for the Nintendo 64 supporting 240p, 480p, 720p and 1080i resolutions.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new partnership with plenty more to come!

According to Ryan, the first mod that Castlemania games will have is the HD 64 HDMI kit for the Nintendo 64, shipping in March. I actually pre-ordered one of these back in December of 2022 from the GameBox website so I had already researched this item. Similar to other mods such as the Pixel 64 and Ultra 64, the HD 64 taps into the video output on the board of the system itself to give you clean, crisp, beautiful HDMI outputs. I for one cannot wait for this kit to arrive!

While the HD 64 is their latest mod kit, they have other kits as well that should be added to the Castlemania games website moving forward. They have consolized kits for the Sega Game Gear, the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, and more. Their quality is also exceptional as well, something they take pride in, and fits with the philosophy of Castlemania games.

We are excited for this partnership to come to life and happy for our good friend. We wish Gamebox Systems and Castlemania games nothing but the best of luck as this partnership grows and develops. Make sure you check out all of the game box systems items on their website and keep an eye on the Castlemania games website as their product line gets added soon.
