- The FX 6300 was a great processor boasting a great retail price - but tides have turned lately. An Intel i3 matches one stock-for-stock, and the poor single-core performance of the FX series is quickly becoming its Achilles' heel. So with that said, is pairing the AMD FX 6300 with the Radeon RX 480 a good idea?
