Once there was a man who died for us
Laid down His life that we might have a life that's free from death and sin
He died for us, can we live for Him?

He bore the pain, He bore the shame, He was crucified.
That we might be healed by the stripes that He did bear
He died for us, can we be his heir?

What was there about the man named Jesus?
Who lived His life to offer us the way?
Was it foolishness to offer up Himself as sacrifice?
Or was it love for us that made Him pay that day?

Consider it a goal to learn from Him.
To give yourself unselfishly so others might see Him through you.
Can they see Him in what you do?

The time is near when He will come.
He comes for those who've lived their lives as He had lived
Will you be found live in this world, or dead in Him?
