Daniel 10 - Daniel's Fast & Great Vision of the Man Clothed in Linen

Here we have one of the great controversy chapters of the Bible. Daniel is fasting three weeks for clearer insight from heaven, while he afflicts "his soul before God," to seek a "Knowledge of the purposes of the Most High."

Gabriel delays coming for he was held up by the prince of Persia. Michael had to come to release the hold that Satan had on Cyrus from issuing the first of three decrees for the return of the Jews to their own land. Daniel speaks in first person through this chapter.
