Benjamin Hopes - Book 1 Chapter 13

It's early 1987 and a couple of years since Ben's return to London. He and Zoe are in Ben's kitchen packing some of Granddad's crockery when a certain, 'lost' pocket-watch, makes its appearance.

Gideon and Tasha's arrival seems to send the blood brother and sister into various 'altered states' – culminating in Zoe, in Tasha's words: Doing "A Benjamin..."

Benjamin Hopes inhabits worlds where umbrellas are wands, pocket-watches trap souls and nothing else is quite as it seems.
