It WAS Going Well Until...Virginia Vacation with our Jeep and Pop Up Camper

We take our new (to us) pop up camper down to Endless Caverns Virginia behind my Volkswagen TDI Swapped 2001 Jeep Cherokee. The trip started out really well. The Jeep towed the camper perfectly, we got great fuel economy, no struggles or issues on the 4 hour trip to New Market, VA. The following day I headed out alone to check out a possible 4x4 exploration route for the family when the Jeep started running poorly. Lack of maintenance? Bad fuel?
