What is your ideal load-out in a non-permissive environment in the Middle East? Henry prefers his AK103 with the new Primary Arms 2x ACSS GLx scope, due to it's low maintenance, high performance, flexibility, and capabilities to vampire local supplies. In fact, this setup harkens back to older Soviet setups that were used during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan with all new equipment... but how does it perform to 500 yards?

The AK103 is a 7.62x39 adaptation to the AK74M, featuring mostly AK74 parts with a cartridge conversion back to the older 7.62x39. The AK103 is one of the more successful line items in the Kalashnikov Concern offerings, and can be frequently seen worldwide. The system boasts lower recoil than the usual 7.62x39 AKM/ Type 56, and uses the same magazines, but also has a side-rail that comes standard and a folding 5.5mm trunnion stock.
