189

Comiskey Park was a baseball stadium in Chicago, Illinois, which was demolished in 1991. It was the home of the Chicago White Sox from 1910 to 1990, and was one of the oldest and most historic ballparks in the country. Despite its historical significance, Comiskey Park was demolished to make way for a new state-of-the-art stadium, which was built on the same site and named US Cellular Field. The demolition of Comiskey Park marked the end of an era in Chicago baseball history, and was met with both sadness and excitement as fans looked forward to a new and improved stadium.
