Quotes -
“I realized that to do real estate, you need to have six months in the bank, for things that go wrong and to pay the mortgage. You can’t be having just enough money to pay the next month’s mortgage because can go wrong.”

“One of the things that I learned from Jesse Itzler is that he started a lot of businesses before he really knew what all the plays were. He’d be in rooms that were way above his head and way beyond his skill level but he said, what they cared about were the story behind it and the momentum.”

“I have a lot of people that hear my talk and they want to give me advice but I know that if you have too many voices in your ear, it’s kind of like too many cooks in the kitchen, one coach will tell you to do your marketing this way and another coach will tell you otherwise.”

“If you are listening to a great book, get the hard copy too and you’ll get the information in two modalities because your eyes will be going over the information and you’ll also be taking it in through your ears.”

“One of the biggest cheat codes of life is having a mentor. Having a coach, having someone that’s done the thing that you’re trying to do, they’re just gonna take you there so much faster than if you’re trying to climb for the first time.”

Concepts -
One of the most important things you can do to help you succeed in real estate is to join and create connections with other real estate investors.
If you’ve faced many hardships and conquered them, you have the ability to coach, no matter what type of business, someone who is facing the same struggles that you had because chances are, many people are sharing the challenges that you encountered.
The way you can add value to your coaching is through your level of success, your commitment to your students, and the results that you can get for people who were coached by you.
Different coaches have differing styles. Getting one coach that specializes in a given skill you want to improve on is ideal so you won’t get confused when coaches have different ideas on one subject.
If you can’t afford coaches, there are many other resources you can use. Books, audiobooks, podcasts, youtube videos, online communities, and many more are readily available for you if you want to improve yourself.
In choosing a coach, choose someone who’s ahead of you for only just a few steps. This way, the concepts you will be learning will be more easily digestible and more relatable for you.
You have to power to make your dreams come true. You can design your plans and build on them until you reach your goals.
Relationships are better than skills. Good relationships take a lot of time to develop but learning a skill can be sped up by using your relationships with people and asking for help or coaching from them.
Never assume anything about the people you interact with. Always keep an open mind and think positively about the people you talk to.
