Pfizer Man Talked Outside Of School

Somebody said something about Pfizer recently, but I can’t say much, because I’ve been warned. I’m a naughty school boy who did something I shouldn’t have in class. So I think you’ll understand that I have to tread carefully here. But one thing I will do, is show you how Pfizer reacted. On around the 26 January 2023, an undercover reporter went on a purported date with a person who identified as a higher-up in Pfizer. In a bid to impress his date, the Pfizer employee flapped his gums a bit too much and spilled a few too many beans. I can’t say exactly what he said, but it was something about what goes on in the backroom laboratories of Pfizer. Most media outlets said nothing of this meeting and happily ignored it. Social media platforms simply blocked the video stating that it violated their terms of service due to misinformation. However, despite these accusations and media blackout, guess who responded to this video? Pfizer! You can find their response on their website, “Pfizer Responds to Research Claims”, dated 27 January 2023. I can actually read some of this out to you, because Pfizer are considered an “official” and “authoritative” source. Here are some of the best bits.

“Allegations have recently been made related to gain of function and directed evolution research at Pfizer and the company would like to set the record straight. In the ongoing development of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer has not conducted gain of function or directed evolution research. Most of this work is conducted using computer simulations or mutations of the main protease – a non-infectious part of the virus. In a limited number of cases when a full virus does not contain any known gain of function mutations, such virus may be engineered to enable the assessment of antiviral activity in cells. It is important to note that these studies are required by U.S. and global regulators for all antiviral products and are carried out by many companies and academic institutions in the U.S. and around the world.”

It should be noted that these are carried out in Biosafety level 3 laboratories.

“Fact-based information rooted in sound science is vitally important to overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic and Pfizer remains committed to transparency and helping alleviate the devastating burden of this disease.”

As part of this statement, they also talk about the authorised uses of their COVID-19 products under the Emergency Use Authorization. They also include important safety information.

It’s funny how a response to research claims turned into essentially a big safety checklist. Earlier on, my computer went a bit funny and blanked out a word, oh, that’s weird. But to be fair to Pfizer, this media statement was relatively transparent. How could an undercover video of a Pfizer employee, one which was blocked by social media, result in such openness from Pfizer? Perhaps more people need to go undercover.
