Linton Beck is young, lean, in peak shape, has never had any heart issues nor do heart issues run in his family. Still, he suddenly collapsed due to a cardiac arrest that required defibrillation:

"I remember walking into this class. And then I remember being in the hospital. I don't remember really any of the event," said Beck. "What I've been told was I walked into class, I was talking to my friends eating a pop tart. And then I just fell over."

Amanda Welty, Station Camp school nurse admitted Beck's emergency was the first time in her 25-year career she had to use an AED and credits the school's SET team (School Emergency Team) with helping her save him. 🤔

Had Linton been anywhere else than at school, he probably would have died or at least had permanent damage, because the right people and equipment would not have been present quickly enough.
