Russia has warned the West saying it would be responsible for Kyiv's 'dirty bomb'. The Kremlin says Russia will consider the use of any depleted uranium weapons in their new NATO tanks as nuclear 'dirty bombs' and has warned the western allies of the consequences. So far, Washington has declined to comment on whether the ammunition it is supplying to Ukraine includes depleted uranium. The Kremlin claims Ukraine and the west could arm Leopard Tanks with 'silver bullets'. The ammunition that was used by the U.S. in the Gulf War and during Allied bombing in Kosovo and Yugoslavia uses dense depleted uranium, to penetrate the thick steel of enemy tanks.
