Did your plants suffer frost damage? Don’t prune them right away. The damaged limbs and branches protect the plant from further frost damage.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Before pruning, wait until the danger of frost is past in the spring and you begin seeing new growth. Prune back to just before where the new growth begins.⁣⁣⁣⁣
