Covid public health emergency will end May 11

The Biden administration has announced plans to end the covid national and public health emergencies on May 11, 2023. The end of the declared emergencies will also mean the end of some public health measures, such as free covid testing and treatments for many Americans, along with some other social benefits that have helped the nation get through the pandemic.
