A recent DEADLINE article entitled "Disney Reorganization Looms Ahead Of First Earnings Report Since Bob Iger’s Return" walks through some thoughts ahead of next week's Disney Earnings call for the 1st fiscal quarter of 2023. This will be the first earnings call since Robert Iger reclaimed the CEO chair from ousted former top-dog Bob Chapek back in mid-November of last year.

Bob Iger seems dead set of dumping all the blame for Disney's laundry list of fiscal woes on Chapek and his former top lieutenant, Kareem Daniel, the head of the short-lived Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution division.

That division immediately created a lot of tension between Chapek and the various Disney studio heads as it removed a tremendous amount of power previously slated to the studios themselves and relegated it entirely to the hand of Mr Daniel. This was one of the principal issues for the revolt against Bob Chapek at Disney...a revolt seemingly aided by Mr Iger himself.
