In 1990, the recently reunited German Bundeswehr needed a new service rifle, and despite pushing through an expensive G11 caseless ammunition project, Heckler & Koch stepped up to the task and offered it's HK50, which would soon be known as the G36.

So how does the rifle do? Is it perfect? Does it have heat issues? We investigate.

This example is from TommyBuilt Tactical and uses all major components from the H&K Bundeswehr rifle. Also a special thanks to Forgotten Weapons and for allowing us to use their footage, and Small Arms Solutions for letting us film their HK 416 reference material.
