The *Manual for Teachers* identifies 10 characteristics of the so called “… advanced Teachers of God.” (OrEd.Mn.4.2) The 9th one is “faithfulness,” or the ability to come from and depend upon our faith in God and His/Her Divine plan of the atonement. Faith is trusting in God and the atonement even when it doesn’t seem to be working. "Faithfulness is the teacher of God's trust in the word of God to set all things right – not some but all." (OrEd.Mn.4.21) God’s word will always set all things right. Do we come from that faith? Do we give witness to it? Do we communicate our faith in God verbally to others? Several people I know were very disturbed by the passing and then signing into law of California legislation AB 2098 which threatened doctors with loss of their medical license if they spoke against stated government Covid19 policy. This past week Federal Judge William Shubb issued a temporary injunction to stop implementation of this law (nicknamed the “Doctor Muzzling Law”) until a current legal challenge to it (Hoeg v. Newsom) works through the courts. Will the people who thought this law was the end of modern medicine in the State of California now talk about, give witness to, how God has set this “right,” or will they just go onto the next issue to be upset about and stoke more fear? Did they have faithfulness in God during this process, or did they spin a fear based narrative? Let me be their mouthpiece. I believe God is always setting things right and this temporary injection against the “Doctor Muzzling Law” is just another example. I had faith, and I see this as a good work coming from that faith, coming from my faith. 28 min. SUBSCRIBE & SHARE
