Channel 4 has announced it has commissioned a 60-minute documentary investigating the life of Andrew Tate and his rise to fame

The former kickboxing world champion, is currently under arrest in Romania facing allegations of human trafficking and being part of an organised crime gang, along with his brother Tristan.

Tate, 36, amassed millions of followers for his misogynistic online content and was a housemate on Big Brother in 2016.

The documentary will be executive produced by Dan Reed, who directed
the 2019 Michael Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland and will gather “extensive footage” of Tate over the last decade and speak to his legions of supporters.
