Bodrum is a city on the Bodrum Peninsula stretching from the southwest coast of Turkey to the Aegean Sea. The city has twin bays with views of St. Peter's Castle. This medieval fortress was built partly with stones from the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, completed in the 4th century BC. The city is also an access point to neighboring beaches and resorts.
