First, he’ll tell the story of the unsung heroics of the Sikorsky JRS-1s, small, unarmed planes that faced incredible danger during and after the attack on December 7th. Then he’ll tell the story of two pilots who got into the air that fateful day: George Welch and Kenneth Taylor. Finally, he’ll tell the story of one of the Pearl Harbor Battleships sunk that day, the only battleship to also shell the shores of Normandy on D-Day.
