Wild Dog Hunting in Australia || Predator Control || Hunting with a Thermion 2 XP50

The wild dogs are still causing issues locally. This property, the owner had been seeing a particular wild dog - A wild dog I'm pretty sure is the same one I spotted on a recent deer hunt. He asked if I could help with some predator control as his cows are about to drop newborn calves. Unfortunately the wild dogs can be pretty savage on small calves and are capable of a lot of damage. So out I zipped with the thermal hunting gear - Custom 6mm BR rifle with a Thermion 2 XP50 rifle scope and my InfiRay E6+ V2.0 monocular. Some nights hunting or shooting are less challenging than others, but it's great to get a good result for a property owner.

Wild Dog hunting in Australia - These elusive evasive feral pests can be a huge challenge for the hunter to target. They are extremely in-tuned with their environment and super spooky to get within ethical shooting range of. Every wild dog that is reduced is a huge win for our agricultural industry and native animals.

All animals shot are in alignment with the NSW DPI Wild Dog Management Plan 2017 - 2021.
