Coaching In Session - Ep.235: Personal Development & Self-Improvement

There is a difference between personal development and self-improvement. Many people think they are the same, but they impact your mindset differently.

Personal development will be defined as the activities or actions to help people reach their potential and maximize their capabilities. Another fancy word for personal development is called self-improvement. Both terms will deal with you stepping into a different course of action you are taking. Though we can use these terms interchangeably, know that developing yourself is slightly different than improving yourself. For example, if you live in the ghetto, you can develop the community, or you can improve the community. Depending on where the individual is will depend if they should be developed or improved for a better result.

In my mindset coaching career, I work with people more on personal development because it is the same as mindset at the end of the line. To this saying, mindset is not about how we first think about something but the conclusion, for example. If you look in the mirror and say how you look out loud, eventually, in time that day, you will find that what you said is not what you believe. This is because it was only your conscious mind at work when you said what you said.

If you have ever tried to make changes in your life and failed, you will want to catch this episode. The secrets to your success are right in front of you, and you miss them!

Join your host, Michael Rearden, as he explains how personal development and the concepts of human potential can change your life for big changes this new year.
